251. Astrology and the Bible

There are those who say everything depends on the power of the signs of the zodiac. And there are those who say that we should not believe in the energy or effects of the stars and the planets. But both perspectives are correct. Free will is the key here. The Creator uses the forces and powers of the stars and planets as a conduit to direct the various forces of nature into this world which affects you. Becoming aware of how it influences you, leads to the ability to free oneself of its influences.

Abraham was told that he and his future generations would have the ability to rise beyond the force of these powers in nature. From previous articles it will have become clear that the Zodiac is, as a whole, the snake that bites his own tail and finds his reflection in you.

Life will continue to progress in a sequence that reflects the results of our actions and intentions and influences from the forces of stars and planets. At the same time there is a force in existence that allows you to go beyond in order to create transformation.

Higher than Angels can we rise. They are the forces we personified, placed our faith in the messenger instead of the message. Mistook the vehicle for truth. Before I continue: while the same hold true for the Vedas and the Koran, the Bible is not just a book of moral and ethical teachings that one reads and follows without having to seek them out for one self but it is also a sacred book that should also be approached in two other ways. One is of study, the other is faith. In this way the initiate find great reward.

Those who consider faith as something without substance, without proof, will not find it. The great light, rule and guide should be studied accordingly. Ask, seek within the Bible where he shall attain to that light which cannot be conferred to the un-initiated, the discovery that will then be made is an intentional one, the truth of man himself, his ultimate goal, his reason for existence and the very instructions for attaining it. Beyond the veil of allegory there is another one. The road is full of false pearls, symbols and even words, purposely leading you away from the truth like a mother bird simulating a broken wing, fluttering away before the intruder and leading him from her hidden brood. Many who consider to have such pearl are often like the mother bird with a broken wing which leads you and those who follow them away from the true treasure. They call themselves teachers or knowers of truth.

The truth can be seen in the symbols and is revealed in a grand theme of which the entire Bible may be said to represent a cycle. It is concealed in separate accounts which may be termed “cycles within a cycle” while seemingly repetitious, each different account brings out some phase not covered by other recitals, like a spiral moving to higher planes. This is the only true form of evolution.

Many religious groups do not realise that their rituals are but broken wings.

Krishna said: “This noble teaching hath decayed and its light grown dim. Almost lost hath become its inner spirit, and men know naught but its letter. SUCH IS EVER THE FATE OF TRUTH AMONG THE RACE OF MEN”.

The Bible states: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” There are many myths concerning the creation of man, as widely scattered amongst the peoples of the earth. Most of these myths include the four elements in their makeup and a composite of them would recite approximately as follows: God took the dust of the ground (EARTH) and mixed it with water (WATER). This he kneaded into a dough and moulded it into the form of man which he baked in an oven or kiln (FIRE). When he had finished he breathed (AIR) into the nostrils of the inanimate form and it became a living being.

Thus, by these various accounts, man is literally composed of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. Here is the theme of devolution from the spiritual to the material. Having made this form, God breathed His breath (Spirit) into it, thus imprisoning “Spirit” in its “tomb” of matter.

In the Bible this ascent from the purely material to the spiritual is allegorically described, those who studied the material should look at the structure and its opening of 24 degrees. And 90 degrees or one fourth part of a circle “90-24=66”, this leads us back to the zodiac which is divided into twelve equal parts, and to each is allotted a “sign”. These signs are first grouped in three divisions, the Cardinal, the Fixed, and the Common signs, each group consisting of four signs. “This division is apparently founded upon the ancient Chaldean doctrine that the Lord of the Zodiac, or Grand Man, functioned through a spiritual triad called the Father, the Power, and the Mind. Thus the cardinal signs are the Fathers, the fixed signs are the Powers, and the common signs are the Minds, resulting in the triplicates of the elements, each of which is composed of the trinity of a Father, a Power, and a Mind.” Modern astrology has not progressed far enough to understand or analyse the three spiritual bodies. The frequent references to them by the ancients indicates they possessed a thorough knowledge of them, their functions and significance, but they have not yet rediscovered their esoteric implications and, one might add, application. They would come into play in “spiritual astrology”, these signs are designated by the four elements, therefore there is of necessity three signs in each of four divisions. These four divisions are:

EARTHY: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn

FIERY: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius

WATERY: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces

AIRY: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius

The signs are so spaced around the circle of the zodiac that a line drawn from one of the Cardinal, Fixed and Common signs to the second like sign, then to the third like sign, then to the fourth, and back to the first, will produce a geometrical figure of three squares within a circle whose angles form a twelve-pointed star. Each square is therefore composed of one sign, each of the four elements. Four equilateral triangles may also be formed within the zodiacal circle by drawing a line from one to another of the three signs of the four elemental groups; that is, connect each of the three fiery signs, each of the airy signs, each of the earthy signs and each of the watery signs. 3 signs and 4 elemental groups are related and reflected onto the eight within and explained by the ancients as man having seven vehicles or bodies.

As the student will know, there are seven within the eight. Four of these bodies are to be classified as “material” and three as “spiritual”, that is why there are two part spheres that make up the eight, one part material, one part spiritual. What is in heaven is reflected in you and what is in you..

Someone mentioned the third temple being build and a lost tribe returning to Israel, I have said before that they build upon wrong measurement. I need to mention something of importance here, the name/word “Israel” means “one who has a pure heart”. There is more concealed in the syllables and what I hinted at when I wrote Is-ra-el in previous articles.

Before gaining the ability to see and hear one has to develop in order to see and hear truth. I like you to draw the eight “made up of the two overlapping circles and 5 and 6 pointed star” using the Measure Plato gave for the Zodiac cycle of 25920 years.

Take the story of Noah and the ark which was 45.”000” cubits. I have told you that the Bible describes your path until one reaches the top of the mountain and a new beginning. That the journey on the ark over the waves of the great “galactic sea” is that of your journey through the signs and influence of the zodiac. So if we divide the cycle of 25920 by the 45 you get 576, which, as you will know, is the circumference of the eight. Or divide 25920 by eight and you get 3240 and divide that by the ark of Covenant 5.625 and you get 576.

To those who have ears to hear and eyes to see, you will be able to pinpoint their entry point, that what has come to pass until they reach the highpoint and let go of the black raven, and send out the dove eventually returning with the olive branch. The story itself and the names which change like Abram to Abraham etc.(remember there are 3 ways in reading the meaning of the names before a fourth is revealed) will tell your story in a full and correct story of your journey. The animals on board male and female, are reflections of the great zodiac cycle within you.

Reading the Bible with this in mind will tell you the role you play within the story, and becoming a personal one. I have also told you that this zodiac is also the great cosmic snake which is reflected in you too and having explained where the devil resides, that he is the sub-conscious that knows not right from wrong, seeks only of self for self.

We could give the sub-conscious another name: MIND, and that it is dual in nature. One part of it being impure and lives in illusion, and the other part is the pure mind, seeks what is real and true. This is also what a well-known Upanishadic verse is saying as well. It goes on to say that during the several stages between perception of an object by the senses and the formulation of a concept there are many pitfalls and limitations. No one sees an ordinary physical object as it actually is, for only certain of its aspects, colours and characteristics can be grasped by the senses. In the sense organ itself there is a process of selection and interpretation. When, for instance, the eye looks at something, it selects only particular features before a message is conveyed to the related part of the brain, where further interpretation takes place before the perceiver acquires an impression of the object which he sees. A preconditioned view judges what it sees and therefore is blind for truth. Those who have gained insight into self will see that having an open mind is often only open to a conditioned point of view.

Back to the 3 and 4, let’s have a look at Timothy 4:3-4 for the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine, instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

That time has come now.

The Jewish festival of Hanukkah commemorates the military victory of the Jewish Maccabees and their re-dedication of the second Temple in Jerusalem. According to the Talmud, at the re-dedication following the victory over the Seleucid Empire, there was only enough consecrated olive oil to fuel the eternal flame in the Temple for one day. Miraculously it burned for eight days, which was the length of time it took to press, prepare and consecrate fresh olive oil, with celebrating Hanukkah we celebrate the miracle of having light for 8 days, and among the songs that we sing during those days that say we come to expel the darkness, with the light we have in our hand. Again the number eight which is related to the law of cause and effect, of good and evil, what you put out comes back to you multiplied..

Let them who recognize a true revelation realize their responsibility of letting it be known.
