235. The dead will rise

Much of the people in the world are ostensibly living unconsciously. Locked inside their own minds, too weak and too busy to break free of social norms and societal pressures and of self-created ideas. In fact, when presented with a new or different idea to a pre-existing belief, 96 percent of the population will reject the idea outright while only four percent will be open to the possibility of the inherent truth. It is because of this inability of many individuals to take in new knowledge that much of the present problems of the world have recently been exacerbated. When the world is ready for independent thought and knowledge, devoid of societal influences from the media, friends and family and the limitation of its collected view point, the revolution will have arrived and flow of positive changes will be unstoppable. The source of lasting joy will be uncovered.

In the many talks I have had with people who either lost their faith or were facing doubts or were struggling with a situation, they often say that they left behind bad experiences and overcame them. Others say, I pushed them back in my mind because they hurt too much. But what they do not realise is that this past still influences them today and shapes their future. Many of you will have experienced driving along a familiar road and suddenly discover they miss a part, their mind drifted off and were on automatic pilot some part of the journey. What happened was that the subconscious took control while you were not paying attention. Many of your motor functions, such as walking, are coordinated from this part of the mind. You do not have to think about it any-more. Once through experience you have learned, the subconscious will take over. All habits you might have, work like this. Some will say, but what about physical addiction? Well if I tell you that the subconscious that is able to process millions of bits of information a second stores and links images, sounds, smells and feelings, then it will become clear that it doesn’t matter which of these trigger the subconscious, which in turn responses. This subconscious does not have the ability to distinguish between right and wrong. It is blind to it but has awareness, only self-awareness, sees only, recognizes only that what it knows. Have you not experienced anger, jealousy or fear? Where it made you see reasons to feel so, while in fact there wasn’t? Yes some will say, yes but often there was. Ask yourself, where did that thought come from? And is it not that these thoughts can only be due to a leak of knowledge? As it can only see through what it has collected. Each experience, each page, each bit of information that comes through your 5 senses is weight by all previous and strengthens one part or the other within that collective. This is usually very well organized, but also interwoven with all the bits of information that you received. Those that become strongest became Personality.

That what you identify yourself with, I AM happy, sad, angry etc. Usually you can control these feelings, but often when it is free to collect in his own image it will strengthen, like many who are set in their ways. There is a saying: “better the devil you know then the one you don’t.” Many older people find it difficult to deal with change, their collection of seeing things through these build up filters make it very difficult to be open for another way of seeing.

“Now I shall raise up the dead and they shall eat the living, and I shall make the dead outnumber the living”, is said in the Babylonian Mythos of Ishtar’s “descent into the underworld”, (Sumerian ). Ask yourselves, is it not those experiences you have buried so deep that will come alive? And do they not outnumber the living? If you take into account that the word living is something else then what you did think, as there is only one life and that is in Christ, Krishna etc. (do not miss understand this word Christ or Krishna as you have personified a way). Perhaps in this light you start to see what and where the underworld is and become aware of how you find the life in Christ.

In the world of matter each word has found a connection in a material expression and therefore each word you read is seen in a material way rather then what is essentially a spiritual one.

There is a great truth in, “Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch you habits, for they become character. Watch your character,  for it becomes your destiny”.

Many talk about the great change, many think it will change them without having to change their ways. I say the devil fools you so it can hold on to his life it lives through you.

Just listen to all his excuses, he had an easy life through you because you believe(d) in him as you identify yourself with the thoughts he surfaces from the deep. He has built castles build on sand but the water of truth will wash the sand from under its foundations and leave you homeless if you do not take action, if you do not wake up. Your free will is only a choice between two.

Make up your mind, clean up your house. Prepare your temple.
