8. As above so below

Numerology, as a tool for understanding, seems to have lost its importance in our scientific realm. However, it is a fact that it was implemented within the Jewish religion which is the basis of Christianity. That’s why it’s irrelevant to overlook the numerology in a religious and scientific research of the Bible. It is a fact that Jesus attached importance to the two numbers 6 and 9, hence:

Mt:20:5: Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. Mt:27:45: Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth. Mt:27:46: And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? The Gospel of the Holy Twelve:82:26: When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said,“It is finished”. And he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
And it was in the ninth hour. Acts:3:1: Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. Acts:10:3: he saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. Acts:10:30: And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,

the seal of Solomon

8.1

Known as the sixpointed Jewish star, contains the old wisdom: “as above, so below”. This wisdom is reflected with the numbers 6 and 9; the number 6 seen from above is 9 and 9 seen from above is 6. Nostradamus knew this when he dated the end of time to 999. (Remark: At the time when Nostradamus lived it was a custom to write the year without the 1000, i.e. they wrote 666 instead of 1666, and so on.) And since the end of time cannot be predicted as to Mt: 24: 34, Nostradamus’ “end of time” prediction has nothing to do with the year 1999. Still it has a relation and that is to the seal of Solomon; “as above (999), so below (666)”. Nostradamus knew that in a numerological sense the Bible speaks of the same person’s revelation:

666 = 6+6+6 = 18 = 1+8 = 9 999 = 9+9+9 = 27 = 2+7 = 9

This relates to the not so peacefull side of Jesus (666/Mt:10:34-35): “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.” At the “same” time he showed his good side too (999/Mt:12:7): “But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.” Thus Jesus reflected man in flesh and blood.

And this is what life is about for all of us. We undergo 9 months of pregnancy, the number of man so to speak. Then for the rest of our lives, we have to face and bring forth our inner abilities of good (999) and/or bad (666) behaviour.

The Star of Bethlehem

8.2

A Norwegian song is called “The Earth is a Star”. Although this is not true there is a deeper meaning in this. All over the world one cannot fail to see the use of “the Star of Bethlehem”. It’s found in various national- and state-flags, i.e Algeria, Angola, Benin, Maranhào, Mato Grosso, Burkina Faso, Byelorussian S.S.R, Cameroon, Cent. African Rep., Chile, China (Mainland),Comecon, Comoros, Congo Dem. Rep., Cook Islands, Cuba, Curacao, Djibouti, Dominica,Ghana, Grenada, Guinea-Bissau, Honduras, Iraq, Korea (North), Liberia, Mauritania, Micronesia,Mongolia, Mozambique, Neth. Antilles, Nevis, New Zealand, Niue, Northern Marianas, Pakistan, Panama, Puerto Rico, Sahara, St.Christ.-Nevis, Sao Tome e Principe, Senegal, Singapore,Solomon Islands, Somalia, Suriname (new), Suriname (old), Syria, Togo, Tunisia, Terkey,Turkish Cyprus, Tuvalu, Ukrainian U.S.R., United States, former U.S.S.R., Venezuela, Vietnam(North), Western Samoa, Yemen Arab Rep., Yemen Peoples Rep. and former Yugoslavia.

The origion of the Star of Bethlehem is unknown. There are many suggestions. One is said that it was brought to the world (Egypt) in ancient times by the Gods as a gift to the human race. In Egyptian graves the heaven is found indicated by five-pointed Stars.

8.3

It is interesting to note that the Egyptian hieroglyphic for the “morning star” (see above) has the literal meaning “divine knowledge”. The morning star, usually identified with Venus, is proving itself to be a very important link in our chain.

The Bethlehem star is often drawn “negative”. It was this star the three wise men, the Magi, saw and followed to Bethlehem when Jesus was born.

But the origin of the Star of Bethlehem is not only found in Egypt. The author Erik von Däniken discusses the finding of a Star-pattern made up by ancient holy places located in the city Karlsruhe (Germany) which by stretching lines between them, make the form of a five-pointed Star. (Auf den Spuren der All-mächtigen)

There is no doubt about that the Star has many aspects. The Star of Bethlehem as seen in many flags symbolizes a human being and it is a symbol of the divine personality. In a Christian sense the Star refers to Jesus’ five wounds. Made up as a pentagram, i.e. with one line, it symbolizes the “endless”; the eternity. As in this it has the meaning of a circle. The five points symbolize spirit, air, fire, water and earth.

Very often one can see the Star of Bethlehem used in so-called magical rituals. Within the freemasonry the Star of Bethlehem is very important and can here be seen in a form of a “flaming star” with “beams” at the points and the letter “G” in the center of it. “G”, meaning “Gnosis”, brings the freemason into comprehension, knowledge, wisdom, and deeper understandig of religion, the holy Geometry, God and Gloria. The Star of Bethlehem reminds us of the Sun which illuminates the Earth with its beams and lets its blessing come to Earth by sharing light and life to all of us.

The “144 000″ saved souls.

The Star of Bethlehem and its connection to Biblical and esoteric mystical use of numbers is very interesting, but very little known. In an esoteric sense it symbolizes the “Creator”; the creative power within us as represented by Jesus. This power is found within us in 7 energyspots or centers, called “chakras”. Each of the seven centers is symbolized with a certain number reflecting the different numbers of petals in the Lotus-flower, which in return is a symbol of the divine human being. The “petals” symbolize the creative power and there are seven centers of petals as there are chakras. 5 of these centers have in sum 48 petals. The 6th center is found a little bit over and between the human eyes, also called the “third eye”. This center is represented by 96 petals, and combined with the 5 on the “ground” the number 144 is revealed. This number is the same number of “yielded fruits” during the creating period of one “year” (cycle) as 12 “months” multiplied with 12 giving the total of 144. (Rev. 22,2.)

At the top of the human head the seventh center is reflected by 1000 petals. Connecting the human (144) creative power with the Creator itself (1000), meaning the human connection to God, one reveals the number of “saved souls” as mentioned in the Revelation. In esoteric terms the number – 144.000 – doesn’t mean 144 000 humans, but is a countless amount of people serving God as his end of the creative process of Creation – the divine human being. The 3 zeros in the number symbolize the circle or the cycles meeting their final goal – “the fully developed personality”.
