44. Baptism part 1

Jesus said: “I say to you, unless one is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of g-d” (John 3:5)

In John 5:6-7 the bible says: “This is he who came by water and blood-Jesus Christ, not by water alone but by water and blood. And it is the spirit who bears witness, because the spirit is truth. There are three that bear witness in heaven, the father, the word, and the holy spirit, and these 3 are one.”

When Jesus turned 30 (think of what is said in the articles about 30: having done the circumference) he was baptized by John the Baptist.

The apostle Peter said in 1 Peter 3:21 that `baptism is an antitype that saves us`.

A remission of sin, a cleansing, how do you establish this? Through truth! To be given truth and to believe in them with all your heart, having true faith.

Truth will set you free, by it you will be able to learn and so ensure to walk on the narrow path.

It is the word of truth, so let’s look at some parts of the Bible;
“And pay close attention, for he who rejects me, doesn’t receive my sayings (understanding), has one who judges him. The word that I spoke, the same will judge him in the last day.” (John 12:48)

“So don’t allow the traditions of men come before the word of g-d as revealed”, Christ spoke of this inclination of people….

“Making void the word of g-d by your tradition, which you have handed down. You do many things like this.” (Mark 7:13) And he condemned it, remember instead that those who are blessed are those that obey and KEEP g-d’s word.

But he said, on the contrary “blessed are those who hear the word of g-d and keep it.” (Luke 11:28

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said: “if you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples, then you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:31-32)

“For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass, the grass withers, and the flowers fall away, but the word of the lord endures forever, and this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.” (1 Peter 1:24-25)

“And right after the heavens were opened and saw the spirit of g-d descending like a dove, and a lighting on him”; here you can find the correlation with the story of Noah and the raven and the dove.

It is the death of ego, the raven. And resurrected. Infant baptism therefore is ….

Until the age of 7, once they reach the age of reason, they can be prepared, one needs to repent and by his strength of believe be forgiven, I say “stand up and walk” (3 times) do you believe?

When forgiven, the cleansing is not the removal of dirt from the body but the start of a renewed clear conscious.
